Purpose

This position is responsible for enabling advanced customer and operational analytics capabilities to empower business partners to further enhancing customer experience, increasing revenues, and improving operational efficiencies. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for combining business and technical skills and acumen and data to develop actionable insights, presenting key learnings, and delivering transformational outcomes in collaboration with our business partners.

Accountabilities

  • Execute high-profile and time-sensitive analyses with decision-grade executive-ready quality
  • Gather business requirements and manage project tasks and timelines
  • Build effective visualizations that convey the right answers to questions and tailored to the right audience
  • Design, develop and support compelling business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights and key metrics to solve business problems
  • Work with data teams to acquire the correct data and perform transformations and cleansing to be used in advanced analytics initiatives
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed for certain business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to discover, analyze, and evaluate business intelligence needs to design value-driven solutions
  • Foster effective and emphatic partnerships with internal teams such as business and IT to collaborate and achieve common goals
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in quantitative discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Engineering) or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in analytics environment with proven value creation outcomes
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, front-end design principles, and storytelling through compelling dashboards for target audiences using tools such as Power BI
  • Hands-on experience cleaning, transforming, and visualizing large data sets in various formats such as SQL tables, CSV, Excel, Parquet, JSON, flat files, and others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in translating complex analysis into easily consumed insights through documentation and presentation
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills for breaking down key business data to aid in organizational decision making for complex business problems
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Capable of owning an initiative and working with minimal direction; self-starter even when assignments are vague or undefined
  • Knowledge of standard statistical concepts such as regression, correlation, etc.
