Analyst, Human Resources - Permanent - 16514

Our Public Sector Client, located in Ottawa, is looking for a Senior Analyst, Human Resources to join their team. The Analyst, Human Resources Organization and Classification is responsible for providing expert level reporting and analytics that support various HR programs and initiatives.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather data across HR tools and systems
  • Provide expert level reporting and analytics that support various HR programs and initiatives
  • Generate dashboards and reports to help derive proactive insights and predictive metrics in order to tell the story and assist in making better data-driven decisions
  • Management and monitoring HRIS including collection and analysis of data as well as the maintenance, integrity, processing, and reporting of the data and information in the HRIS
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • A minimum of two years (2) of progressive experience in using data management and business intelligence tools to design and create reports & dashboards with demonstrated knowledge applying analytical methodology
  • Excellent technical data management skills and proficiency in SQL coding and data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, developing complex calculations and audit data for inconsistencies
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience in creating complex formulas and analyzing large sets of data in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think conceptually, analyze data, identify and effectively communicate trends and report
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify issues and recommend creative solutions
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multi-task; plan and organize work
  • Ability to understand clients\' needs and liaise effectively
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Tact, diplomacy and discretion
Assets:
  • Previous experience using HRIS systems, familiarity with Dayforce
  • Experience with total rewards programs and process
  • Experience validating and analyzing large data sets to create HR Dashboards
  • Experience leveraging complex HRIS systems to create reports, extract data and build meaningful reports for HR and Sr. Leadership
  • Bilingual (CBCC)
