Job Summary
The Analyst, HR Data and Systems will be responsible for assisting with system evaluation, implementation, administration, consultation, development and hands-on process support necessary to support the Company's HR system - SuccessFactors, and related HR systems. This role will work closely with the Value Stream SME and is responsible for properly addressing client needs regarding system and data inquiries, solving problems through root cause analysis, and following steps as outlined in the escalation model. Finally, the Analyst is required to work closely with the Consultant, HRIS to review and recommend long-term solutions for improved accuracy and efficiency and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. As well, work closely with the payroll team on data setup in SAP
Job Responsibilities

  • Support and continually enhance the core HR system - SuccessFactors - with a heavy emphasis on building and maintaining the system core and enhancing the functional capabilities of the system.
  • Work closely with the Subject Matter Experts to provide guidance on proper troubleshooting tactics, conduct system training as required, and ensure that Tier 1 troubleshooting protocols are always followed.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, develop and test solutions in conjunction with GIS to ensure that the issue is fix from end to end. These fixes may include short term workarounds but will always focus on long term and comprehensive solutions to problems.
  • Responsible for the day to day process administration and maintenance including tasks such as modifying business process definitions, conditional rules, notifications, permissions, etc.
  • Develop deep SuccessFactors functionality expertise. Conduct research using SuccessFactors online courses and Community forum on various documentation and configuration to provide support to Subject Matter Experts.
  • Ensure highest level of data accuracy within SuccessFactors - Employee Profile and Job Classification for Recruitment
  • Responsible for reviewing the CPI integration error reports, collaborate with payroll and GIS to ensure all errors are resolved.
  • Enter and audit affiliates employee related data into SAP. This includes, New hires, Terminations, Leave, Org Changes and Pay changes.
  • Coordinate and plan bi-annual upgrades including regression testing and new functionality for all aspects of HR administration.
  • Engage stakeholders to support recommendations for implementation of new functionality and/or revisions to current functionality in order to maximize utilization of current and/or future HR systems.
  • Assist in the identification of training requirements for HR and other employees on an ongoing basis. Conduct training sessions with business stakeholders, create and update training materials as required.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement or implementation of any HR systems and be involved in multiple projects. Work closely with the Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners to streamline, optimize and ensure quality controls are built within SuccessFactors to maintain data and process integrity.

Job Requirements
  • Education
  • Business Diploma/Degree in HR or Computer Science
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Basic understanding of lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize, set goals and objectives, and follow-through to completion
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Works well independently, with a strong sense of ownership/ accountability
  • Ability to effectively work with a diverse group of employees, technical staff and functional end-users.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and changing demands while being responsive to end user needs

  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality; Demonstrated professionalism & tact when dealing with highly sensitive information
  • Experience
  • Minimum of two years experience as an Analyst with responsibility for handling HR systems and data, servicing internal and external system customers
  • Experience with HR Technology Systems, preferably SuccessFactors and SAP
  • Experience extracting reports and analyzing data
