This role sits within Laurentian Bank
The incumbent supports the sales activities of the Traders by developing and automating the production of various reports and dashboards mainly related to results, activities and the sales pipeline. He/she performs multiple analyses, ensures data quality, explains discrepancies and submits recommendations to improve sales productivity. The candidate will work closely with the sales and trading team on research projects that will help our team facilitate customer transactions and identify deal opportunities. He/she actively participates in the various projects that affect these teams and takes part in business development activities.
Responsibilities
Proactively analyze sales results, activities and predictive indicators, their correlations, make projections and produce performance reports.
Develops and works on analytical applications to facilitate the collection and management of sales force data Makes recommendations to optimize sales management processes and maximize results
Supports his or her manager and the sales force in the analysis of their sales results, and in activities related to the various performance programs
Assists his or her manager in projects requiring input from members of several administrative units or corporate sectors.
Performs any other task of a similar or general nature requested by his or her superior or required as part of his or her duties.
Prepares a business development plan to develop a network of customers and prospects.
Qualifications
University degree in a field related to Administration (ideally, a Masters degree);
At least two years of relevant experience in analysis, preferably in the financial industry and ideally in financial markets and/or the banking sector
In-depth knowledge of MS Office and database management tools
Computer programming/financial modelling skills are major assets
Bilingual (spoken and written)

Excellent interpersonal skills;
Thoroughness
Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
