Our expectations:

Reporting to the Demand & Allocation Manager and collaborating with various business partners, the Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible to issue, analyze, adjust and maintain sales forecasts for product categories under his/her responsability.

Your role:

Participate in the planning, and execution of marketing strategies for the categories under their responsibility
Issue, analyze, adjust, and maintain sales forecasts for products under their responsibility using JDA Demand software
Prepare promo forecasts for the product category under their responsibility
Ensure excellent collaboration between business partners in charge of merchandising, as well as Category Inventory Analysts.
Coordinate various activities with stakeholders
Analyze and monitor performance indicators (sales forecasting accuracy, turnover rate, inventory budget,
dashboard, product status, etc.)
Participate in a collaborative sales, inventory, and procurement review and planning cycle (S&OP/CPFR)

The qualifications we are looking for:

Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in operations research, operations management, engineering, statistics, or a related field
Minimum 2 years\' related experience in demand planning, sales forecasts and inventory management
Strong ability to analyze data and make recommendations
Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and Access (knowledge of JDA is an asset)
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Organizational skills, thoroughness, self-direction, drive, and attention to detail
Well-developed business acumen and sense of urgency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the retail and/or distribution sector (an asset)
