Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Customer Compliance: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

As part of the VF Customer Service Team the Customer Compliance Analyst is responsible for reviewing, executing, and maintaining Vendor Guides and Agreements to ensure VF chargeback exposure is low. The Analyst will be responsible for knowing customer requirements while working with various functional areas to proactively implement recommended corrective actions and resolve any issues proactively.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Review vendor and customer contracts to ensure we are following SOX requirements. Organize and maintain chargeback data for reporting, problem solving, and trend analysis. Work with Specialists to ensure they have all the information they need to dispute, as cases warrant. Ensure compliance by partnering with the Distribution Center (DC) when new accounts are set up, if value added services (VAS), packing, ticketing, and/or labels are required. Create a prevention plan with the distribution center (DC) to avoid further chargebacks. Determine the root cause of customer chargebacks by working closely with customers and various functional areas (Sales, Distribution Center, Logistics, Credit, Customer Service, and Global Business Technology). Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer guides, agreements, and website information to limit any chargeback implications. Support the development, improvement, and implementation of processes to limit compliance exposures (future forward thinking). Support the review of customer requirements and updates, as guides are ever evolving. Maintain a data base for customer guides, agreements, web access information, exemptions, and approved tickets/labels. Monitor the timely completion of chargeback claims. Support weekly/monthly/quarterly chargeback reporting. Cultivate and grow the relationships within the VF Coalition and throughout the VF customer base.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Bilingual (French/English) required
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, SAP experience a plus.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
  • While travel is not mandatory, it is optional and minimal. Travelling to VF distribution or to a Retail partner would help be more efficient in the job.
  • May require extensive sitting and use of keyboard/computer
  • May be required to work hours beyond 40/week as needed to meet business needs.
