The Analyst, Central Finance individual will use analytical and data management skills to derive insights from complex data systems. This position will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data, ensuring multiple ERPs are in sync, and improving existing processes. The person will leverage in-house tools to use analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company financial data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

There is flexibility in the final banding of this role, and the successful candidate will be offered the role at an appropriate level guided by Nutrien Job Ladder definitions, with consideration for the candidate\'s post-secondary education, years of related professional experience, and other qualifications.

This role is available for a hybrid work arrangement and can be located in Saskatoon, SK, Calgary, AB or Loveland, CO.

What you will do:

  • Maintain overall strategy for Central Finance (CFIN) in guiding business stakeholders to ensure that mapping requirements are met through a standardized approach for multiple ERPs
  • Partner with IT to resolve errors for data movement from multiple ERPs to SAP S4 and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop processes and procedures which will provide guidance on best practices for multiple ERPs\' data related to Central Finance
  • Participate in projects as required for software upgrades, improvements and master data changes and additions related to Central Finance
  • Maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key strategic business decisions
  • Prepare, document, communicate and train stakeholders about the proper use of CFIN and FIORI
  • Drive identification and prioritization of improvement opportunities by interpreting data and developing actionable recommendations for business leaders
  • Develop strong relationships across various Finance teams and other key stakeholder groups that are using financial data
  • Complete ad hoc analysis, projects and initiatives as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required, with 2+ years related work experience in an operational, business, IT or financial analysis role
  • Experience in finance or IT related role preferable
  • Experience in SAP (ECC & S4) and/or Oracle would be an asset
  • Experience conducting data analyses using basic and advanced skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills with strong change management mindset
  • Experience in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Provide excellent customer service
