Reports to the Sr. Supervisor, Cash Applications.

What you will do:

• Provide support with payment applications and support for Trade-AR and GL payment processes
• Process centralized AR payments
• Triage and resolve customer account issues including customer prepayments, incorrect payment terms, open customer balance resolution in SAP S4HANA
• Conduct AFDA (Bad Debt) recovery processing
• Process and/or escalation for AR Adjustments and Credit Balance Refunds processes
• Triage, maintain oversight, and escalations of AR tasks handled by Managed Services
• Operate as SAP S4HANA SME for the OTC Retail Back Office, reviewing processes for improvement and issue resolution
• Triage/escalation for assignment of EFT payments to customers and GL
• BD Recovery Checks (from Special assets team) in HighRadius/SAP S4HANA BNS and Non-BNS
• Process Canada GL checks process in Highradius, coding
• Primary escalation for Highradius EFTs unsuccessful match issues and assign payments to customer account
• Primary escalation for Highradius lockbox issues and month end close issue resolution and sign-off
• Support AR Adjustments and Credit Balance Refunds Processes as designed
• Process and Administer AR Adjustments and Refunds
• Support BNS AR Adjustment processes, SAP S4HANA
• Assist branches with customer prepay balances and issues, SAP S4HANA
• Analyze open payments, urge branches to apply to open invoices, move to prepay, or refund to customer
• Identify and resolve AR Aging issues (open balance resolution with other depts and branches); this includes prepay and AR
• Provide support as needed for other OTC and Nutrien teams
• Perform UAT and regression testing for related AR processes and systems

What you will bring:

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution
• Two years of related experience
• Highly detail oriented
• Self-Motivation and able to prioritize and work well with competing deadlines
• Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong integrity and business ethics
• Ability to lead by example and work well with others
• Demonstrated analytical skills are required
• Intermediate level of Excel skills is required
• Knowledge in SAP s4hana, HighRadius (CA, RDC, EIPP)
