Who you are

You love diving deep into research and financial analysis to provide strategic solutions for your clients. You are passionate about commercial real estate and are looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge in investment sales.

As an Analyst, based in either our Toronto office, you will provide expert financial analysis, marketing and communications support to an elite group of Investment Sales professionals across a variety of commercial real estate projects. Armed with exceptional analytical, communication and organizational skills, you\xe2\x80\x99re a problem solver who\xe2\x80\x99s always looking for unique solutions that will maximize value for your clients. You will be assisting in the production of investment pitches, offering memorandums and lead the team\xe2\x80\x99s financial modeling.

What you bring:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, appraisal, investment/asset management or investment brokerage
  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and experience with Argus software
  • Excellent written and presentation skills to communicate research findings and financial analyses to prospective clients
  • Exceptional quantitative, writing and communication skills
Bonus skills and experience:
  • The completion or pursuit of a professional designation (CFA, CPA, EA/AACI) or a master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance
  • Marketing experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
What success looks like:
  • You will optimize client\xe2\x80\x99s real estate acquisition and disposition strategies by; performing sophisticated financial modeling (e.g. developing assumptions, cash flow analysis, lease analysis, IRR calculations); conducting research; and reviewing and summarizing property documents
  • You will prepare comprehensive and clear presentation and communication materials for prospective clients (e.g. investment offering summaries, confidential information memorandums, pitches, etc)
  • You will successfully manage all aspects of property marketing campaigns
  • You will thrive in our collaborative team environment and excel in a fast-paced setting, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and deliver results to the highest accuracy.
  • You are also comfortable providing support in client presentations
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, product quality and attention to detail
  • You are able to participate in client meetings, coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and responding to client questions. Ability to directly interface with brokers and clients regarding title, closing, and coordination of all timelines
