Your Opportunity

Our Toronto office is looking for an Analyst to join the Business Restructuring and Turnaround Services team and work on corporate restructuring engagements.

The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, have strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable with financial analysis and be able to function within a team environment. Candidate must be able to work within a fast-paced and confidential environment, be flexible and adaptable to meet multiple requirements of the role, and work well both independently as well as within a team.

The Analyst will own the following responsibilities:

Analyzing financial data and accounting records;

Assessing companies\xe2\x80\x99 current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;

Preparing, reviewing and analyzing integrated cash flow models;

Participating in practice development and marketing opportunities as available; and

Flexibility to meet stakeholders and occasionally work during non-business hours.

Your experience and education

Experience in a professional services firm, accounting or banking field is an asset, but not essential;

Proven analytical and systematic problem solving skills;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint);

Willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program in due course; and

Currently working towards CPA accounting designation;

Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to off-site locations may be required. The group is currently working in hybrid work/office model.
