Position Title: Analyst, Business & Customer Intelligence Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Toronto HQ Grade: Grade 04 Requisition ID: 14388
Provide analytical support within the Business & Customer Intelligence team and broader cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales Leads, and Sales Strategy. The Business & Customer Intelligence Analyst will gather, analyze, and compile data from various sources to identify trends and patterns to answer Commercial Sales (Foodservice, QSR, and Retail) business questions as well as make recommendations for business actions and provide performance reporting and tracking. Role to be headquartered centrally at corporate office.
Responsibilities

  • Synthesize large datasets from various sources (internal shipment data, 3rd party syndicated data, insights databases, etc.) to identify performance opportunities, and to recommend solutions to close gaps
  • Deliver and present data and findings in a meaningful format to key stakeholders in support of business initiatives and projects
  • Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends
  • Create reporting, analyses templates and standardized views of business performance
  • Process sales data reporting for tracking of KPI targets within relevant divisions of the Sales teams and Agency partners
  • Build knowledge base in managing reporting platforms to ensure data integrity
  • Stimulate continuous enhancement of analytical framework and sales reporting tools and deliverables
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations/insights in support of Regional and Global exercises and projects

Qualifications
  • College degree required
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in sales, analytics, finance, or category management (Foodservice industry or B2B experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and high intellectual curiosity
  • High capability to mine and maneuver large datasets from various sources
  • Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to collaborate internally
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
