Heli-One Canada is hiring

Apprentice AME's

for their Richmond, BC base. Reporting to the Base Maintenance Supervisor, the

AME Apprentice

works in a supervised environment and performs aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection and modification as suitable to their level of experience.




Key Responsibilities:
Supervised aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection and modification Adhering to CHC's safety regulation, policies and procedures while performing their duties Acts as a team player while assisting fellow employees in the performance of their duties in a professional and courteous manner Maintains the O.J.T. logbook and keeps the T.C. logbook up to date



Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

At the end of their apprenticeship program (in a timely manner) begin working towards acquiring a T.C. license.

We are looking for someone with:



Knowledge of aircraft services, and the maintenance required to assist in maintaining the aircraft in a serviceable and airworthy condition Knowledge of safety measures required within the workplace Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change Ability to take instruction; listen and follow direction Skilled in working with tools, sheet metal, and mechanical and power machinery Ability to work professionally within a team environment while promoting and maintaining a positive work atmosphere Knowledge of CARs as related to aircraft maintenance

Training/Education:



Grade 12 diploma Successful completion of AME category M training course from a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization Mechanical experience or aptitude is required Advancement based on satisfactory performance

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency)
