Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, and installing various components and hardware according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of imperial measurements, fractions, the ability to read simple schematics, mathematics, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Duties

Assemble various framing & door materials for glass company clientele. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks. Perform machining tasks as needed to achieve precise dimensions. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks. Strong imperial fractions measurement knowledge. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Experience with machining processes is preferred but not required.

Experience with aluminum door manufacturing or glazing is a strong asset.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively. Forklift operation experience is a plus, with a commitment to safety practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
