WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Alternative Channel Development Manager will lead and develop new business in the retail market. You will target all new segments to expand our current customer base.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key contacts across different channels
  • Focus on keeping customer inventory in stock working closely with our customer service, shipping, and logistics teams
  • Create, negotiate, and implement a detailed sales plan as well as national marketing and sales strategies. Identify and create new qualified sales opportunities in the Canadian market
  • Utilize tracking reports and analysis to review market share performance, sales targets and all other financial aspects
  • Use strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach
Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Must have at least 5 years of retail sales & account management experience
  • Post-secondary degree from either a University or College - Business & Marketing preferred
  • Established relationships in the retail industry & with brokers
  • Resilience, demonstrating strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multilingual considered an asset.
