South Central Building Systems and Penn Truss (AEP Companies) are leading suppliers of engineered wood products, trusses, and prefabricated building components across Western Canada. We are seeking a full-time, permanent

Alpine Designer

to support both locations. Ideally based in Winnipeg, Regina, or Saskatoon, this role reports to the Design Manager and requires an experienced designer with strong technical skills and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels using Alpine software. Interpret drawings, specifications, and codes to produce accurate designs. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet project needs. Provide technical support to production teams.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in truss/building component design (Alpine required). Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes. Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written).
