Alpha AI Lead Business Analyst

What we are looking for

The Alpha AI Lead Business Analyst will play a key role in the identification, analysis, and delivery of strategic AI products and solutions for State Street Alpha, the first open front-to-back investment management platform on which many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest financial institutions rely to drive returns from their investment portfolios. We are seeking an inquisitive, creative, and analytical investment management professional who excels at analyzing data, designing quantitative models, and forming innovative recommendations.

What you will be responsible for

As Alpha AI\xe2\x80\x99s Lead Business Analyst, you will:

  • Lead the capture, analysis, and validation of business requirements for AI solutions in collaboration with Alpha Platform product managers and clients
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Act as liaison between business and technology teams to effectively translate business requirements and ensure AI solution alignment while managing change over time
  • Provide investment management functional, analytical, and data subject matter expertise to guide the design and delivery of AI solutions
  • Communicate the business benefits and features of our AI solutions to business stakeholders
  • Evaluate multiple solutions and collaborate to identify the optimal AI solution to the business opportunity
  • Contribute to the identification, analysis and vetting of AI enabled use cases for the Alpha Platform product roadmap
  • Capture feedback and suggestions from business stakeholders to improve the functionality, usability, and performance of AI solutions

  • Demonstrated investment quantitative analysis and modeling capabilities
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field of study (Masters, CFA and/or CIPM preferred)
  • 8+ years of proven experience in the investment management industry
  • Experience as a portfolio manager or trader at an institutional investment manager
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools and languages, such as R or Python
  • Experience with investment quantitative analysis and modeling preferred
  • Combination of investment and technical roles with performance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AI concepts, techniques, and applications preferred

Salary Range: $135,000 - $210,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
