ALLOCATIONS MANAGER



At Warehouse One, our Allocations Manager is responsible for leading our team of allocations and replenishment professionals to create, manage, execute and analyze inventory plans at the product and category level to maximize business opportunities. Reporting to our Director of Planning and Allocations, the Allocations Manager is responsible for ensuring we have the right product, in the right stores, at the right times to maximize sales and inventory productivity.

What you'll be a part of



Overseeing the management of purchase orders from initial allocation through the end-of-life cycle of the products, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores Working with the Allocations Team to maintain proper inventory levels for retail stores and eCommerce business considering factors such as store capacity, seasonality, and selling curves Working with the Retail Pricing Coordinator to ensure the communication and execution of markdowns and promotional pricing adjustments; approves retail pricing in system to ensure all stores have accurate prices at POS Ensuring that replenishment and never out of stock core programs are consistently in healthy inventory positions Conducting ongoing review and analysis of store and eCommerce inventory levels and mix; making suggestions and adjustments as appropriate Working with the Allocations Team to analyze and rank locations based on performance at the class, sub-class or style level seasonally, or as needed, to support the planning and buying process and inventory management Increasing inventory productivity by working with the merchandising team to develop allocation and replenishment strategies that capitalizes on regional and seasonal opportunities Collaborating with Warehouse One's merchandising teams and distribution team to support the business Contributing to the development and updating of all allocation tools; recommending changes or enhancements to current procedures and systems Partnering with our IT Team when it comes to inventory systems; acts a super user who can collaborate with IT to determine system needs, conduct testing, and communicate requests as needed Administration of the allocation and replenishment system to effectively manage inventory based on seasonal and business needs Acting as a key point of contact for inventory or allocation inquires or issues Ensuring new stores open with appropriate inventory levels as determine by the new store plan and dispersing inventory related to store closures based on business needs Leading and supporting the Return to Vendor (RTV) procedures Participating in special projects and initiatives relating to product allocation and replenishment

Who you are



Post-secondary education in retail or business management is preferred; or equivalent work experience Experienced in allocations, replenishment, and/or inventory planning related roles, ideally in the fashion industry Holds strong financial, analytical and business planning skills and are able to use qualitative and quantitative data to aid in effective decision-making Mathematically skilled and has experience working with retail calculations such as weeks-of-supply, sales rates, etc. Organized and detail orientated, especially when working under tight deadlines Intermediate to advanced computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite programs Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Previous experience with the Aptos inventory management system is considered an asset A strong communicator, both verbally and in written communication Ideally, experienced in leading a team; able to motivate, train, and coach others to success Collaborative and able to work as part of a team Fashionably casual and enthusiastic about Warehouse One's product and image Able to represent Warehouse One's WHO WE ARE; Friendly, Caring, Committed, Real
