ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is the future of autonomous agriculture. Their mission is to accelerate the transition to autonomous farming. Our client\'s product is the only interactive planning software ever made. This software enables farmers to plan, simulate and validate the movement of equipment in the field and execute field operations.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Scientist/ algorithm developer. The ideal candidate must have proven experience with optimization, machine learning and computational geometry, as well as be eager to learn.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a full-time remote position with EDT time. (9 AM- 5 PM from Monday to Friday). The client\'s office is in Lethbridge, Alberta.

You will be responsible for the following:

Implement application code to function in both an embedded and x86 Linux environment.

• Working on algorithm development in GIS or related fields
• Developing optimization, vehicle routing, robot motion planning and machine learning
• Remain up to date with terminology, concepts and best practices for algorithm development

THE REQUIREMENTS

• MSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or a BSc with related experience
• Extensive Knowledge of Go (Golang) and C#
• Knowledge in algorithm development in GIS or related fields
• Experience in R&D as applied algorithm software development
• Proven experience in algorithm software development and innovations in the fields of optimization (e.g., vehicle routing, robot motion planning), machine learning or computational geometry
• Proven end-to-end algorithms ownership including productization

COMPENSATION

• $90,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $125,000 per annum depending on experience
• 10% Performance bonus
• $1000 health account
• Medical package (health, dental)
