We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Poultry Sales Manager to join our team in Sherwood Park. You will play a pivotal role in formulating and implementing the sales strategy for our Poultry Sales team. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the growth and success of both our company and our valued customers. Your main goal will be to ensure a strong, innovative, and growing sales operation that not only meets but exceeds our department\'s sales targets. By doing so, you will contribute to the overall success of the company and provide exceptional service to our customers.   • Account Management: Develop and execute professional account management strategies, maintain personal relationships with key accounts, and optimize customer relations and business opportunities.
  • Sales: Develop and maintain an efficient sales organization, anticipate market developments, and achieve quantitative and qualitative sales targets.
  • Marketing: Collaborate closely with the Canadian marketing team to maximize marketing and advertising opportunities.
  • People Leadership: Organize, manage, develop, and staff the department according to corporate guidelines, coach the team to achieve targets, and contribute to optimizing business results.
  • Training: Create and maintain sales-related training schedules and content, collaborating with the poultry technical and nutrition team for direct reports.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-the-ground support, including ration balancing, on-farm technical assistance, and development of technical support materials.

OTHER HIRING CRITERIA
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Opportunity & Sales Funnel management is considered an asset.
  • A degree in agriculture and/or business is considered an asset.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team.
