National Alarm Systems Limited is a Fredericton, New Brunswick based company that provides the sales and service of fire alarms, security, CCTV and access control systems.

Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick

Position Title: Alarm Technician

As a member of an experienced team, the Technician will be responsible for providing superior customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a professional, customer-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities and technical skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who focuses on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

System commissioning and verification

System inspection and preventive maintenance

Identify, trouble-shoot and correct fire alarm system technical problems

Complete site inspection and verification reports in a timely manner

Participate in 24-hour on-call emergency response service

Perform responsibilities in accordance with CAN/ULC standards for fire alarm systems

Follow and participate in safety and ISO quality standards

Travel within New Brunswick as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Certified electronics technician or equivalent experience

Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registration would be an asset

Proficient with computers and various software applications such as Windows, MS Word

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety safe work practices

Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record

Criminal background check required

Ability to attain Security Clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
