Rate of Pay: $32.61 per hour
(Training Opportunity rate of pay is $30.98 per hour. The successful candidate will be paid at the reduced range until the minimum qualifications have been met.)

Department: Office of the Chief Administrative Officer
Duties: Under the general supervision of the Airport Operations Supervisor, or designate and the day to day direction of the Airport Operations Serviceperson (AFFS)/Leadhand.
1. Repair, maintain, or oversee construction of physical structures such as buildings, partitions, storage sheds, counters, guardrails, signs, fencing, and minor electrical repairs.
2. Operate necessary equipment in order to perform Aircraft Firefighting Services (AFFS).
3. Operate airport vehicular equipment or equipment located in buildings.
4. Perform all standard operating procedures for aircraft fire fighting and rescue.
5. Operate standard power and hand tools.
6. Assist mechanic as directed.
7. Maintain water and sanitary systems.
8. Collect and dispose of refuse when directed.
9. Must maintain aircraft fire fighting certification as outlined in the aircraft fire fighting regulations.
10. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS's Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation listed therein.
11. Perform other related duties as required.
