We are currently accepting applications for 1 Permanent and 1 Part-time evening and weekend shift janitorial cleaning position.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee and Performs all cleaning duties operation of the air terminal Knowledge of all cleaning tasks and technique Experience cleaning and performing minor maintenance in large multi-use building Aircraft interior grooming Experience operate floor Zamboni Detecting and reporting facility maintenance needs and safety issues Ensure the terminal is properly maintained in all weather conditions Follow directions and communicate in English Work in a high energy environment High standards in hygiene and cleanliness Ability to work independently and unsupervised Maintain a high quality standard of cleaning operation Ensure all records are maintained Comply with Health, Safety & Environment and Quality programs and initiatives. Also other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies

Minimum of five years' experience in the custodial/aviation/airport industry Permanent Canadian resident and reside in Canada min 5 years. Must be able obtain and maintain Transport Canada Security Clearance Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. Must be able to follow instructions and work safely within limited time frames Ability to read and write in English Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work under pressure Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to exercise independent judgment. A strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Able to work in inclement weather, overtime and extended shifts. Highly motivated and able to work with minimal or no supervision. Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent.
