Overview

The Stores Helper supports the aviation stores and logistics team by assisting in receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining aircraft parts, tools, and materials. The role ensures proper inventory control, compliance with aviation safety standards, and timely support to maintenance and operations teams.

Duties

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming aviation parts, tools, and materials Store items correctly according to aviation standards and company procedures Issue spare parts, consumables, and tools to maintenance and operational staff Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or computer-based systems) Label, tag, and segregate serviceable, unserviceable, and quarantine items Support stock counts, audits, and shelf-life monitoring of aircraft components Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or contamination Follow aviation quality, safety, and security procedures at all times Assist with packaging and dispatch of parts when required

Attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow instructions and procedures strictly Basic communication and teamwork skills Physical ability to handle materials and stand for extended periods Willingness to learn aviation regulations and inventory practicesWorking Conditions: Warehouse and hangar environments May involve shift work, including weekends or holidays Exposure to aircraft parts, tools, and technical equipment Must comply with aviation safety and security requirements

Previous aviation stores experience is preferred but not required

Experience with Winair (or similar aviation inventory systems) is an advantage

On-the-job training will be provided for candidates without prior Winair experience
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.86 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
