Jazz Technical Services (JTS) is looking for Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Structures) with a passion for safety and customer service to join our award-winning team in Halifax.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

• Carry out maintenance duties on Jazz aircraft;
• Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft;
• Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company and Transport Canada regulations;
• Perform duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, the safety of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program.
• Must have received Transport Canada Accreditation.
• Must hold a valid Canadian issued driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with no restrictions and/or conditions.
• Legally able to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or on a Valid Work Permit).
• Ability to carry on normal business in English.

Opportunities:

• Our Apprentice AMEs are given the opportunity to complete all the Transport Canada tasks required to obtain their AME License.
• When positions are available, AMEs are given the opportunity to transfer bases if desired.

Wages:

The positions in our Maintenance Department are unionized positions. Current pay scales are outlined in our collective agreement.

• Pay scales are competitive and progress every 6 months to 1 year.
• AMEs qualify for a Technical Premium which is paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.
