At Coastal Pacific Aviation Ltd., the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining our schools fleet of Cessna 172s, Piper PA30s, and Diamond DA42 to the highest standard. This role ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations and our internal procedures, and it reports directly to the Person Responsible for Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a range of aircraft, including Cessna 172s, Piper PA30s and Diamond DA42 aircraft.
Qualifications:
Valid Transport Canada M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
Proven experience in the maintenance of Cessna 172s, Piper PA30s, Diamond DA42 or similar aircraft.
Strong knowledge of CARs, and industry best practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ensure compliance with regulations, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft components as necessary.
Conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications on airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior team members.
