About the Role:
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) within our team, you will be responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance, ensuring alignment with standards of airworthiness, Canadian Aviation Regulations, and Progressive Air's policy and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of engines and engine components.
Performing engine disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
Inspecting and overhauling engine components and accessories.
Conducting engine testing and troubleshooting as required.
Providing mentorship to Junior Technicians, SCA Level 1 and SCA Level 2, as needed.
Actively participating in the company's Quality Assurance Program.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Transport Canada AME M2 License.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Experience on Piston Engines or a strong willingness to learn.

Be a self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Have strong computer skills and excellent oral and written communication.

You Will Need to Consider the Following:
Must be comfortable working in both hangar and outdoor environments, with temperatures ranging from -20C to +40C.
Ability to lift up to 55lbs without assistance.
Police clearance (RCMP background check) required.
Basic tools.
Willingness to complete an in-house CARs exam and Human Factors training.
