We are actively recruiting licensed

M1 and M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's (AMEs)

from across Canada to join our heavy maintenance teams in

Calgary

and

Edmonton

.



Reporting to the Production Manager / Base Manager, the AME M1/ M2 is responsible for the co-ordination of heavy maintenance functions and will carry out these activities in accordance with the policies and procedures defined in both the HeavyAero's Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and the applicable Maintenance Control Manual (MCM).

Responsibilities:



Perform maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul, and alteration of aircraft and aeronautical products as outlined in HeavyAero's scope of services Sign maintenance releases for certified aircraft Ensure maintenance personnel have the necessary training, authorization(s), and access to up-to-date technical publications and regulatory guidelines Complete accurate and timely technical record entries and submit Service Difficulty Reports in line with regulatory requirements Oversee the maintenance of ground support equipment and ensure facilities are safe, clean, and properly equipped Monitor subcontractor work for compliance with company and regulatory standards Provide supervision and mentorship to non-licensed personnel, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and adherence to company policies Actively participate in HeavyAero's Safety Management System and Quality Assurance programs Perform other related tasks as required by management

Qualifications:



Must hold a valid AME "M1" or "M2" license issued by Transport Canada Flexibility to work shift work and additional hours as required Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems Positive 'can-do' attitude as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to acquire and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP) Due to the safety sensitive nature of the job and customer requirements, applicants must be willing to complete pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing

Additional Requirements:

Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit Must be able to acquire and maintain a Restricted Airside Identification Card (RAIC)

Working Conditions:



Work involves exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and noise Work involves physical risks such as working around mechanical, chemical and electrical hazards which can be dangerous if not handled correctly Must be able to meet the physical tasks of the job (e.g. standing, walking, wearing a respirator, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, working from heights & confined spaces etc.) Must be able to see, hear and effectively communicate with others Personal protective equipment, as defined by the Company, will be provided and must be worn
