:Job SummaryReporting to the Manager, MOC. Out Station Maintenance and Contract MROs, the AME Apprentice will work in support of Porter\xe2\x80\x99s Dash-8-400 fleet in a line maintenance environment.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established proceduresRepair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systemsInstall or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systemsDismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemblePerform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under the guidance of a Lead ACA, ACA or AMEActively participate in Porter\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety PolicyAssist on the ramp as required

QualificationsCompletion of secondary school is requiredA college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational facilityValid Ontario full \xe2\x80\x9cG\xe2\x80\x9d driver\xe2\x80\x99s license (or out of province equivalent)Ability to obtain a Canadian PassportAbility to obtain necessary security clearancesSuccessfully complete the company screening process
