Piston Engine Assembler
to join our production team and play a critical role in building high-quality engines that meet the highest standards of aviation safety and reliability.
Role Overview
As a Piston Engine Assembler, you will be responsible for
assembling piston engines and components
in accordance with technical documentation, company procedures, and the Canadian Aviation Regulations. You will work closely with the
Quality department
to ensure every engine meets airworthiness and performance standards. This hands-on role requires
precision, mechanical skill, and commitment to producing a safe, reliable product
.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble engines and components per
Overhaul Manuals, Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and Company Procedures
.
Interpret
technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
to ensure correct assembly.
Collaborate with the
Quality department
to verify compliance and maintain airworthiness standards.
Prepare rework sheets, order parts, and ensure completion of assembly tasks.
Maintain
accurate assembly records
for each engine.
Maintain a
clean and organized workspace
to prevent contamination and ensure safety and quality.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 required)
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with
tools and measuring devices
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
Post-Secondary Aviation Training or industry experience is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to
precision and quality
High integrity and ability to
work collaboratively with team members and Quality
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) for documentation
