We are seeking a Air Quality & Climate Intern to join our Western Canada Air, GHG and Noise Team, based in either our Vancouver, Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB office. This is a 12 month co-op opportunity.

Working with an energetic and high preforming team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Working with intermediate and senior staff in all aspects of project work including documentation review, Greenhouse Gas emission calculations and reporting
• Review, understand, and interpret provincial and federal acts and regulations
• Data compilation interpretation and evaluation against relevant regulations
• Assisting with GHG emission calculations
• Perform field work including emission measurement and ambient air monitoring
• Assisting with air quality monitoring and emissions reports

What you will bring to the team:

• Pursuing a degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering or Science
• Understanding of chemical process, unit operations, heat and mass balance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for compliance level report writing
• Able and willing to work outdoors in adverse conditions performing emissions testing
• This position may require travel.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license
