Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various air conditioning units. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to HVAC systems. Conduct appliance repairs as necessary, including boilers and other cooling equipment. Utilize plumbing skills for installation and maintenance of HVAC components. Weld and fabricate parts as needed for system repairs or modifications. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects on time. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC engineering or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems. Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation. Proficient in appliance repair, including boilers, plumbing, welding, and fabrication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid certifications or licenses relevant to HVAC engineering are preferred.

Pay: $26.31-$35.35 per hour
