Therefore, we are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Air and Regulatory Compliance Coordinator expertise in Federal and Provincial regulations and air quality management to join our Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), North America team. Reporting to the Team Lead-QHSE, North America.Your Background

  • Hold a university degree in natural or environmental sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess 5-7 years of experience as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst or similar role, focusing on federal and provincial regulatory requirements, particularly in oil and gas development, production, and air quality management.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and provincial regulations concerning environmental protection measures, all facets of oil and natural gas exploration and operations, industry-specific compliance (e.g., oil and gas), and air quality.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in coordinating air quality compliance programs, including monitoring, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory requirements and air quality data, offering practical compliance solutions.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, third-party contractors/consultants and regulatory authorities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Capable of analyzing information and applying relevant data and knowledge.
  • Proficient in compliance software, tools, and air quality monitoring equipment, advantageous.
Your Role with Our Team
  • Assist in monitoring federal and provincial regulations pertaining to environmental protection measures, compliance, air quality, and industry-specific requirements relevant to our operations.
  • Conduct routine audits and assessments to evaluate compliance levels, preparing comprehensive reports and suggesting corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on regulatory requirements, fostering awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate activities for air quality compliance, encompassing monitoring, reporting, and adherence to federal and provincial air quality regulations.
  • Manage and implement air quality monitoring programs to uphold emission limits and reporting obligations.
  • Analyze air quality data, identifying trends or issues, and recommending actionable improvements or corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise strategies aimed at enhancing air quality and preventing pollution.
  • Stay informed on developments in air quality regulations and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain precise records and documentation related to regulatory compliance activities, audits, air quality monitoring, and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, permits, and compliance documentation as mandated by regulatory authorities.
