We are looking for a dynamic AI-Driven Software & Process Intern to support the development of automation-first logistics software and AI-enhanced internal tools. This role bridges business process optimization with hands-on software developing. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and operational teams to document workflows, identify automation opportunities, and actively contribute to building custom tools using AI-assisted development platforms. Ideal candidates have both an analytical mindset and a solid foundation in software development.

Salary range: $25 per hour.
Monday to Friday. 20 hours per week.
Duration: 10 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization & Automation
Conduct interviews with internal departments to map and understand existing workflows.
Document current-state processes and identify repetitive or manual tasks that can be automated.
Collaborate with developers to design and test AI-assisted automation solutions (e.g., automated data entry, work order creation).
Support the rollout and validation of implemented automation workflows with users.
AI-Driven Software Development
Participate in the prototyping and developing logistics focused tools.
Use AI driven tools to co-develop backend and frontend components.
Assist with data modeling, API integration, and low-code/no-code experimentation for internal tools.
Research and document best practices for AI-augmented software development and deployment.
Help evaluate toolchains and workflows to identify the most effective stack for rapid, scalable AI-first software delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Technology Management, or related fields.
Strong understanding of:
Software development fundamentals
(e.g., JavaScript, Node.js, Python, React),
APIs, SQL, and optionally EDIs

and deployment workflows
Interest in AI tools such as Replit AI, Cursor, Gemini
Comfortable working cross-functionally between business, operations, and engineering teams.
