L' Oeufrier Ile-Perrot is looking for a Cuisinier to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and stock all menu items in compliance with recipes, portion sizes, and department standards
Work with the culinary team to ensure proper preparation and presentation of all food items.
Ensure that all food items are stored in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Perform daily maintenance and sanitation tasks for the kitchen, including cleaning up the work area, changing of sanitizer tablets, and removing trash.
Follow proper safety procedures and follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food production.
Follow directions and work as a team to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Assist with opening of kitchen during service hours as needed.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills
Work experience as a Cuisinier or Cook is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of kitchen appliances, tools, and sanitation guidelines is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills are required with an aptitude for taking measurements and proportions.
Strong attention to detail is required with an aptitude for precision measurement.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
