TITLE: AI Software Designer - Advanced AI Model Systems



POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI model systems, capable of handling complex AI tasks, model management, and integration with applications and APIs. This role combines software engineering expertise with deep knowledge of machine learning and AI architectures.

AIC focuses on advancing technological innovation across areas such as artificial intelligence(AI), machine learning, data analytics, and advanced engineering. At AIC, we move quickly from prototype to production, with a strong focus on reliability, clarity, and meaningful impact.

REQUIREMENTS:



Ph.D. or Master's degree (research track with thesis) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Strong publication and project history in AI, machine learning, or related areas (journals, conferences). Proven experience in AI model development, deployment, and API integration. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.). Knowledge of AI model serving frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, TensorRT, ONNX). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with model versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, agile team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Design, develop, and maintain AI model systems and platforms for production deployment. Implement APIs for AI models, including model orchestration, inference, and real-time serving. Collaborate with data scientists to convert research models into scalable, reliable software solutions. Optimize AI models for performance, latency, and resource efficiency. Integrate AI models with front-end, mobile, and cloud-based applications. Ensure system security, compliance, and robustness in production environments. Participate in system architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practice standards. Document system design, APIs, and workflow processes. Conduct research to explore new AI methods, models, and tools relevant to system performance and innovation.
