Wynyard Co-op is hiring an Agronomist at our Agro Center in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. Who we are: Wynyard Co-op is friendly retail in a welcoming community located in the central region of Saskatchewan. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do: Reporting to the Agro Center Manager, the Agronomist will be responsible for consulting with and providing agronomic support, services, leading knowledge and appropriate recommendations to our valued growers and customers in the Wynyard area through:
  • Prioritization of relationship building with both existing and potential customers by providing expert knowledge to assist producers in making informed decisions on crop inputs/applications, scouting, etc
  • Being responsible for the safe handling, receiving, storage and the administration of crop protection products
  • Managing inventories and achieving financial targets and budget

  • A degree or diploma in Agriculture
  • Professional certifications (PAQ/CCA and/or Articling or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an agriculture-related field (retail, crop protection)
  • A valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
