Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Ag and Energy y ou'll be involved in:
Working with the Agro store team, plan and direct day-to-day operations
Overseeing talent acquisition, engagement, performance management and succession planning for the Agro store
Guiding the store in the execution of goals, objectives, policies and procedures for efficient, effective and safe operations
Maintaining Four Rivers Co-op's high standards for customer service and ensuring consistent brand aligned customer experience
Lead, coach and motivate staff to improve productivity, engagement, and retention
Promoting the Four Rivers Co-op Health and Safety Program
Ensuring the procedures for the delivery of merchandise and chemical/fertilizer are adhered to
Responsible for accurate inventories, complying with proper classification and authorization of invoices
Ensuring compliance to all legislative and regulatory requirements as well as organizational and commodity programs and policies
What You Bring:
Possess a post-secondary education in a related field
Five years of progressively responsible experience in Agriculture retail preferably at a leadership level
Proven ability to control operational costs, maximize operation efficiencies and improve growth margins
Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 6-10 employees
You hold a valid class 5 or better driver's license with a clean abstract
Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ability to learn specialized software quickly
You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
