We are currently seeking Outside Sale Territory Representatives to join our team growing agriculture division in Ontario. In this role, you'll build trusted partnerships with agricultural clients across our assigned territory in Ontario, helping them succeed while driving profitable growth for our company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development (Hunt):
Prospect and qualify new customers, sharing opportunities with the Sales Manager and Credit Team through company CRM.
Customer Engagement:
Visit farms, offices, shops, and job sites to assess operations, understand needs, and strengthen relationships that generate and close sales.
Sales Ownership:
Plan your territory, achieve growth targets, and maintain accurate sales call reports.
Market Strategy:
Analyze customer data to develop and execute strategies that expand market share and exceed sales goals.
Order Management:
Work with your support team to prepare quotes, process orders and job packages, and handle all related sales functions efficiently.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve customer concerns, short payments, and returns promptly, protecting both customer satisfaction and company interests.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety regulations when visiting customer locations.
Team Support:
Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and assist with other team activities as needed.
Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
College and/or university degree considered an asset
Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, sales or equivalent experience serving as a trusted advisor to your customers.
Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract and history.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and ability to learn company order-processing software (ERP) and customer relationship management software (CRM) .
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to identify new customers and increase market share.
Quick learner with the ability to gain comprehensive product knowledge and understand value-added services.
Excellent relationship-building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects.
Working Conditions:
Regular Travel within territory via company provided auto
Outdoors at farms, shows and company events
Tradeshows, industry events and Demo days.
