Position Summary:

Genesus Genetics Technology Inc. are seeking a dedicated and experienced Agricultural Manager - Swine Operations to manage the daily operations of our swine production facility. The successful candidate will oversee the health, breeding, care, and overall management of swine, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and production efficiency.

Job Duties:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the swine production facility, including breeding, care, sanitation, and health management of swine

Hire and manage farm personnel

Establish a marketing program

Oversee staff involved in animal care, including feeding, record-keeping, and health monitoring

Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, ensuring efficient use in the production process

Manage financial records, production reports, and farm budgets

Supervise and train farm staff and technicians, ensuring safe and effective work practices

Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal agricultural regulations

Develop breeding programs aimed at enhancing swine genetics and productivity

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or having relevant management experience

Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in swine farming or livestock management

Language: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset.

Additional Requirements:

o Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
