Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Agricultural Agronomist Sales Representative to join our growing team in Northern Alberta. This role is responsible for building and managing direct to-grower and dealer relationships, driving sales of Annelida's full product line, and providing agronomic support to optimize soil and crop performance.
Key Responsibilities: ? Manage and expand Annelida's customer base within Northern Alberta through direct-to-grower sales and dealer support. ? Provide agronomic consultations, including soil health assessments and product recommendations tailored to individual grower needs. ? Build strong relationships with growers, agronomists, and agricultural retailers in the region. ? Lead on-farm product trials, field demonstrations, and educational sessions to showcase product performance and soil health benefits. ? Identify and onboard new dealers and support the success of existing dealer partners. ? Track and report sales activity, pipeline forecasts, and market trends using CRM tools. ? Attend industry trade shows, grower meetings, and community events to promote the Annelida brand. ? Collaborate with internal agronomy, operations, and marketing teams to ensure excellent customer service and product delivery.
Qualifications: ? Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a related field. ? Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in agriculture, preferably in crop inputs, biological products, or soil amendments. ? Strong agronomic knowledge with a passion for soil health and regenerative agriculture practices. ? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with growers and industry partners. ? Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. ?
