Position Overview

We're looking for RN/LPNs throughout Central Newfoundland to work with our current RNs to complete the

delegation of nursing tasks

to Home Support Workers (HSWs) in home care settings. This position plays a vital role in ensuring safe, competent, and ethical care delivery across our client network in Central Newfoundland.

Key Responsibilities

Assess client needs and determine appropriate delegation of nursing tasks Train, supervise, and evaluate HSWs performing delegated duties Maintain clear documentation and compliance with CLPNNL standards Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Support ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Standards & Guidelines

All delegation practices must follow the

College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL)

standards.

Qualifications

Current registration with CLPNNL as a RN/LPN Strong understanding of delegation principles and RN/LPN scope of practice Experience in home care or community health (preferred) Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
