Afternoon Shift Team Lead

to oversee our team of skilled fabricators and help drive efficiency on the production floor.

Position Overview:


As the

Team Lead

on the afternoon shift, you will manage a small crew of 4 fabricators, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This is a hands-on leadership role, and you will actively participate in the fabrication process while overseeing your team.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 4 stone fabricators on the afternoon shift. Maintain a high level of communication with management, ensuring team goals align with production needs. Manage the daily workflow and ensure that production targets and quality standards are met. Troubleshoot any issues that arise on the shop floor and provide effective solutions. Actively participate in the fabrication process, including cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone products. Enforce safety guidelines and ensure the proper use of equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Train and develop team members to improve skill sets and overall efficiency. Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary to maintain uninterrupted production. Report on progress, challenges, and potential improvements to upper management.

Qualifications:



3+ years of experience in a stone fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proven leadership experience in a production or shop environment. Strong knowledge of stone fabrication processes, equipment, and tools. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Ability to lead by example, providing hands-on support to the team when needed. Must be able to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
