AFTERNOON SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Compensation:



Salary $68,000-$70,000 depending on experience 100% Employer Paid Health Care Benefits Package Long Term Disability 100% employee paid HOOPP (Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan) Overtime paid out at time and a half Clothing allowance After first full year of employment, 3 weeks vacation

About the Position



The Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor will provide direction to department team members to achieve production goals of linen products that meet quality and delivery deadlines, as specified by our customers. The Supervisor will lead a highly motivated team and ensure the safety and welfare of all team members.

Hours of work are Tuesday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 12:00am and Saturdays 8:30am to 5:30pm, rotational Sundays(every 8 weeks) and Statutory holiday shifts.



The successful candidate will:



Have a Post-Secondary School Diploma or some Post-Secondary education in any discipline (required) 2+ years working experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment (required) Have the ability to understand how people work with machines, and work together with others, to get the job done in a multiple collective agreement environment Have a commitment to continuously learn and engage in educational development Have effective leadership training and use it to develop others Have excellent communication, organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task Use strong problem-solving skills to ensure production efficiencies are achieved
