Summary

We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team at Lower Sackville Nursery School. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging educational experiences for young children, helping them to grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood learning. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all students. Assess and monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support children's development. Encourage creativity and critical thinking through interactive activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

NS Early Childhood Education Certification (Level 1, 2 or 3) preferred. Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents. Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering children's growth.
*Please note, this position includes a daily walk to a bus stop to meet school age children and accompany them back to our center.

Pay: $18.00-$30.24 per hour
