Job Description
JEI Learning Center Richmond Hill (Leslie & Elgin Mills) AND (Yonge & Jefferson) are looking to add two new members to their team!PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES THAT CAN COMMIT TO WORKING YEAR-ROUND. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM SEPTEMBER TO JUNE + SUMMER, MULTIPLE WEEKNIGHTS 2:00-7:00PM and SATURDAY 10:00AM-2:00PM. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.PLEASE STATE YOUR WORKING AVAILABILITY IN YOUR APPLICATION.
- Requirements: Candidate must be able to teach Grade 1 up to but not limited to Grade 9. Must also provide a clear police background check.
- Language: Must be able to speak Korean and English.
- : The candidate must be confident in developing students' Writing, Math and Problem-Solving Math skills.
- Candidates will be required to teach one-on-one, small classroom settings up to 15 students of various age groups. They will also be required to assist with students' homework from their classes.
- Average working hours per week range from 15-25 hours (September - June) and include Summer (July & August).
Part-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hourSchedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
All staff and students are required to wear face mask at all time. Disinfect all surfaces, frequent hand-washing is mandatory.Experience:
- After-School & Camp Counsellors: 1 year (preferred)
- teaching: 1 year (required)
