Are you an enthusiastic, creative and fun person who enjoys working with kids?

We are looking for another leader to join our amazing team for our afterschool program from

2:15 pm-5:30 pm, Monday to Thursdays

, following the school district #61 calendar.

Ideal candidates have a passion for working with kids, are self starters who can work independently as well as be a cooperative part of a team. Our club leaders are required to plan and implement activities for children kindergarten age up to grade 5, both indoors and outdoors, including crafts, games, etc, and also supervise to ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. Our program takes place in multi-use spaces so part of your role will be be setting up the space, putting it all away and cleaning each day.

Candidates must be available throughout the remainder of this school year (Sept- June). We may also have additional hours available during PD days, and March Break (sometimes mornings (7am-9am) or Fridays if another leader is absent). A subsequent contract may be available for the following school year for those interested and available.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience working/volunteering with children Responsible Adult Certificate or equivalent (or committed to taking the online 20 hour course) Current First Aid/CPR certification Clean criminal reference check. minimum age 19 years old and up
