Mon - Fri, from either 2:00pm to 5:00pm or 2:30pm to 5:30pm

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour

The Junior School offers an After School Care Program for parents who have students attending St. George's Junior School from Kindergarten to Grade 4. This requires a responsible individual to support student supervision for the After School Care Program. The primary function of this role is to provide care for students and ensure adherence to St. George's School policies and procedures. This is an ideal opportunity for those that are considering the education sector as a career option.

The After School Support role includes 3 hour shifts daily and is an ideal part-time opportunity. Supervision includes monitoring attendance, to provide active supervision of the students, and organizing and leading activities to engage students.

Responsibilities will include:



Providing supervision daily for 3 hours for an after school care program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 4. Creating and supervising student centred activities. Planning activities with a team of other workers. Organizing student release to parents.

Strong ability to communicate in written and verbal forms. Key competencies and EQ in self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social interaction, initiative and accountability.
Preference will be given to candidates who also have the following:

Standard First Aid or above. Experience in leading engaging activities for young students.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
