The Village Schoolhouse

is a Reggio-inspired private school in Cambridge, Ontario, serving students from JK through Grade 6. We're currently hiring a caring, reliable, and creative

After Care Program Coordinator

to support our students at the end of their school day.

Responsibilities:



Supervise children during after-school hours in a safe, engaging environment Lead simple games, crafts, and quiet indoor activities Communicate with families during pickup time Ensure a smooth, calm end-of-day experience
You'll be working with a small group -- typically around 4 children, with a maximum of 8.

Qualifications:



Experience working with children (e.g. childcare, teaching, camp counselling) Responsible, nurturing, and dependable First Aid/CPR and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain) Early childhood education or similar background is an asset but not required

This role is ideal for:



Students in ECE or education programs Part-time workers looking for a consistent afternoon shift Anyone passionate about working with children in a calm and creative environment
