AOG Team is currently seeking a Sealant Technician

for a major aerospace company based in

Mirabel

Experience in

aerospace sealant application

or in a related field is required.

Full-time position with permanent employment

after the probationary period

Local candidates currently residing in Quebec only

Salary up to $37.00/hour

, depending on experience

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for applying sealant to specific aircraft sections and components in compliance with established quality standards. Sealant technicians are involved in the preparation and application of sealants on various aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities

Apply sealant according to operational standards Perform visual inspections of components and ensure the quality and compliance of completed work

Planning

Estimate the scope of work and required time Select the materials required to complete the task Prepare the work area for the assigned tasks Prepare ground support equipment such as stands, scissor lifts, scaffolding, ladders, and carts

Education

High School Diploma (DES) Successful completion of an evaluation demonstrating basic technical skills

Specific Requirements

Attention to detail and precision, good reflexes, strong concentration, and attention to finishing details Ability to distinguish finishes and textures Ability to identify relevant details in objects or graphical representations Ability to work at heights (aerial lift) Excellent manual dexterity Ability to adapt to frequent technological changes Ability to work effectively in a team environment (multidisciplinary team) Apply good safety practices and comply with all workplace rules and regulations Experience in the aerospace industry (an asset)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$37.00 per hour
