About the Company:

G&B is looking to add to our Aerial Line Crew, we have been around for thirty-seven years.

Duties and Responsibilities include and not limited to:

Perform outside plant aerial line construction and maintenance of Coax and fibre distribution networks by using cable lashing machines, bucket trucks, ladders and other climbing and lineman equipment. Perform CVOR vehicle daily circle check for major and minor defects. Perform inspection of lineman tools and equipment for defects. Knowledge of WAH, OHSA, and TSSA guidelines regarding working in the vicinity of underground and overhead powerlines. Driving of an assigned work vehicle may be assigned. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

Ability to work and follow directions in challenging work environments Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, lift 75 lbs, carry, bend, reach etc. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Punctuality and flexibility. Experience in a construction environment. Ability to follow instructions. Must be able to work in restricted and tight spaces and at heights. Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License clear of serious offences under the Highway Traffic Act./ More suitable for a D license. 2-year experience as an Aerial Lineman is a must. Working at Heights is an assist.
